Parties for 6-12 yrs

Girls pretending to be charlies angels Packed with creativity and humour a Drama Queen party will capture the imagination of even the savviest child.

An energetic musical freeze and group warm-up game involves the children unraveling themselves from the human tangle activity and working together to physically create different objects (a pencil case, packed lunch, pair of socks etc.)

We then play a variety of improvisation games such as space jump, where the children turn into different characters and act out different scenarios as wild and wacky as they choose! This is followed by a story where the children devise their own ending. Older children have the opportunity to devise their own short scenes and perform them for the group or take part in a story using role play.

Included is also a game of pass the parcel where the children complete a drama challenge in small groups before they receive their prize e.g singing a nursery rhyme in the style of opera.

Finally the children receive a take home present and ‘Thank you’ bookmark.

A 2 hour party also includes a craft activity such as decorating a face mask or puppets that can also be used in the story.

‘The Drama Queen was absolutely perfect for my daughter’s 8th birthday party!
We had 11 children ranging in age from five to eight at our very small house. From the moment Olivia arrived until she left, they were transfixed. She engaged the children so beautifully – she inspired their imaginations with her gorgeous personality and skill. All the children, even the shy ones, got totally involved in the games and had a ball. My daughter and her friends are still raving about the Toy Shop game and the pass the microphone game. Thank you!! Kate Minogue

  2. Olivia, Thank you so very much for making Nathalie’s 6th birthday party such a big success. Nathalie as you saw had an absolute ball and her friends all loved you. The kids were so in to all your games and activities and seemed to be laughing the whole time. Your program is very thoughtful and not only provides the kids with loads of fun and laughter but gives them food for thought as well, with your messages on meeting new people and overcoming shyness. Very clever!! My 4 year old has announced she now wants you for her party next year. Thanks again!!

    Hi Olivia,
You ran a most impressive Drama party for my daughter 7th birthday. We had over 20 children in a hall and you managed to keep everyone enthused and participating during the whole 1 1/2 hours. This is no mean feat for this age group! You also improvised very well for the “play”. Leyla had a great time and we will treasure her special day. Thanks again, Irene from Lane Cove

  4. Dear Olivia,
Thanks for making Erin’s 6th Birthday so special. You did a right Royal job. It was a delight to hear Erin telling her Grandma today about the Toy Shop and the story you told featuring her. One of her friends told her Mum it was the best Party so that’s not a bad endorsement.
