Parties for 3-5 yrs
The party starts with our welcome song and traditional party games including musical freeze followed by imaginative games where the children turn into different creatures and characters. The Toyshop game captivates young and old and guarantees laughter!
Next is a treasure hunt for some stars and an interactive story with puppets involves the children in an imaginative adventure sailing on rivers of lemonade; swimming through puddles and solving the mysteries of magical lands.
Every child wins a prize in pass the parcel, followed by a bubble popping competition! For the younger children we also include percussive music time and creative scarf play.
Finally all the children receive a dash of magical glitter and a whirly windmill to take home as well as a ‘Thank you for coming to my party’ bookmark.
This brings us to the end of a jam packed 1 hour party.
For a 1.5 or 2 hour party we have more fun including parachute games, more imaginative games exploring different creatures and characters, puppetry, song, and craft activities. The Drama Queen arrives wearing an elaborate costume and the children are also encouraged to wear their favourite costume.
Tailor-Made Themes
The Drama Queen creates dynamic entertainment offering something for everyone. Olivia can also creatively incorporate your chosen theme to create a tailor-made party. Here are some examples of themes ideas, don’t hesitate to request your own!
Fairies, Pirates, Dinosaurs, Princesses, Ballerinas, Witches and Wizards, Mermaids, Sports, Superheroes…
Outer Space, Jungle, Zoo, Toyshop, Ocean, Beach, Circus, Transport, Teddy Bears Picnic, Pyjama Party…
Or for something totally unique you could choose your child’s favourite storybook as a theme.
Dear Olivia,
I have no idea how you did it, but you managed to completely captivate the attention of 30 children from the moment you arrived and for the full hour.
They clearly enjoyed themselves and did not even look in the parents’ direction (which of course gave us a great opportunity to catch up!).
It also meant that I could relax and enjoy the party, which does not usually happen being the hostess.
I wanted something different for the party (especially something that would be entertaining not only for girls but also for boys) and you certainly made that happen.
Personally, I particularly liked the windmills at the end – a lovely retro touch reminding me of my own childhood….

Thanks Olivia for providing the playgroup children such a fun, interactive and educationally appropriate range of activities at our end-of-term party. Both children and parents enjoyed the time you spent with them. Your gentle approach was very important for this young age group. Well done!!
